We have some incredibly exciting news for our Silver Coast community. We’ve just installed a brand-new, professional Pilates Barre at Swan Studio in Foz do Arelho, and we are officially launching Barre classes very soon!
If you’ve been looking for a workout that burns, tones, and leaves you feeling energized and empowered, this is it.

What is Pilates Barre?
Don't worry, you don’t need to be a professional ballerina to enjoy this class!
Pilates Barre is a high-energy, low-impact workout that beautifully blends the core-strengthening principles of classic Pilates, the mindfulness of yoga, and the high-repetition, sculpting techniques used in ballet training.
By utilizing the ballet barre for balance and support, this workout allows you to target specific muscle groups with micro-movements, creating a deep, satisfying burn that builds incredible strength from the inside out. If you're curious about its origins, the method actually dates back to London in the 1950s, founded by dancer Lotte Berk.

Studio Memberships & Access:
How Does it Work?
We want to make sure everyone knows exactly how to join us at the barre! Here is how it breaks down based on your current membership plan:
Unlimited Gold Members: Absolutely! As part of your premium perks, Barre classes are 100% included in your Unlimited Gold package. You have full access to book these sessions as soon as they launch.
Reformer Pilates Members: Good news! Your current Reformer membership covers Barre classes. You can use your existing credits to book any upcoming Barre session just like you would for a Reformer class.
Mat Classes Members (Yoga & Functional Training): Please note that standard Mat memberships do not automatically include Barre. If you’re currently on a Mat plan and want to try it out, you can easily purchase a single-class drop-in, grab an Intro Pack, or upgrade your membership to unlock both Reformer and Barre sessions.
